The Chamber recently received notice from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (DfBIS) that the existing Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) will be abolished.  To replace the RDAs, DfBIS are inviting Councils and Business Groups to develop proposals and form Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs).  As proposed in the Budget, a forthcoming White Paper on sub-National economic growth will set out the approach of DfBIS in more detail.  Legislation to...
