Decisions & Disruptions Workshop

Lego: The latest tool in your arsenal against Cyber Attack!

Yes you did read this correctly.

The overwhelming majority of businesses are reliant on online services, which exposes them to cyber security risks. Despite 43% of businesses reporting breaches or attacks in 2018, only a fifth of those surveyed in 2018 had had any staff attend internal/external cyber security training. The need for businesses to start engaging with cyber security has never been more vital.

The Lego GameThe Decisions and Disruptions workshop, hosted by the South West Regional Cyber Crime unit, is an immersive table top exercise where teams work to manage the cyber security of a fictional Lego organisation. You’ll face scenarios based on real life cyber threats, which will develop and evolve as the exercise goes on. You’ll need to use your leadership, communication and collaborative expertise to protect your company’s reputation, assets and profit.

By the end of the session, you’ll learn how to prioritise different technical, procedural, and physical controls that your organisation can employ to enhance your cyber security. You will also improve your ability to communicate cyber security to internal and external stakeholders.

*The Workshop is aimed at owners, managing directors or any senior level staff who make decisions for their organisation. Understanding of technical IT concepts isn’t required, this workshop is not for IT personnel – the game is perfectly suited to professionals from a range of industry roles, sectors, and experience. All equipment will be provided.
