G&H Factory Tour

Your invitation to book on our next M-Hub tour.

G&H is a photonics technology business with its headquarters based in Ilminster but they also have operations in the USA and Europe. G&H are a world leader in optical designing, testing and manufacturing. They work with OEM customers worldwide providing optical systems, assemblies and components for demanding applications and often deployed in harsh environments. 

They have three core businesses;

Aerospace and defence

Industrial and telecoms

Life sciences and biophotonics 

M-Hub factory tours are arranged solely for manufacturing businesses and related businesses which deliver direct service and support to the manufacturing sector.  If you have any questions, please email president@yeovilchamber.org

Current Covid regulations allow a maximum of twelve individuals on our factory tours.

• 1400 - 1430 - Welcomes and introduction
• 1430 - 1500 - Presentation from Tim Kemp, Director of Quality at G&H Ilminster
• 1500 - 1600 - Site tour
• 1600 - 1630 - Q&A, Discussion and close

Guests will need to:

• Complete a Covid questionnaire on arrival
• Confirm they have either taken a lateral flow test (& negative) in the previous 3 days or take one arrival.
• Wear a face covering when moving around the site indoors. 
• Maintain social distancing 

All those attending are asked to bring their own PPE, as well as (if they have their own) appropriate footwear, hi-vis jackets, safety glasses and hard hats. 

All places are free of charge for this tour, but space is currently limited to a maximum of twelve attendees, due to Covid restrictions
