Mental Health Awareness Course 20 Jan 2021

Developed by MHFA England, this 4-hour on-line interactive learning experience with Mental Health First Aid England offers the following:

What mental health is and how to challenge stigma

A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues

An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing

Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

All delegates will receive the relevant materials and a certificate from Mental Health First Aid England. As our courses are currently on-line there is no limitation to location, we provide a safe learning space and deliver manuals and workbooks to your door. Who should attend?
This course is suitable for those who want to increase their understanding of mental health.
**Please be aware that this course covers subjects that some people may find distressing, including suicide and self-harm. If a delegate feels overwhelmed they can leave the course at any time.

Assessment
There is no formal assessment for this course but delegates must complete all sections of the course.

Certification
On completion of the course, delegates will receive an MHFA certificate
