QNUK Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF)

This qualification is the ideal introduction to understanding the principles of health and safety in the workplace. This qualification is typically undertaken by those with no previous qualifications or experience of health and safety. The qualification is perfect for young adults as a part of an alternative curriculum, or by those entering or re-entering the workforce.

ASSESSMENT
As we offer QNUK regulated qualifications, learners will need to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that they have learnt. In order for a certificate to be issued candidates will have to complete a 15 question multiple choice exam and will be asked by the trainer to demonstrate practical elements of the course. The trainer is able to assist those who may have difficulties in completing the assessment criteria, we ask you advise us prior to the course start so we may make provisions if required.

CERTIFICATE
On completion of the course, learners will receive a Ofqual regulated qualification of which is valid for three years. After this period candidates will need to resit the course again, there is no re-qualification course for this course. The HSE recommend Annual Skills Updates of which we can provide either as an open course, as an in-house or as an online course.
