Find out how the Government’s latest funding streams can benefit your business through apprenticeships, traineeships and the new Kickstart scheme.
South Somerset District Council are aware that many businesses are facing real challenges during these difficult times so we have partnered with business and education support agency, Skill Up Somerset, to provide you with a free event that puts people and skills at the heart of your business. The focus will be on apprenticeships, traineeships and the Government's Kickstart scheme but the team will be on hand to answer any questions you have on skills and training. We will also provide you with:
• Knowledge of each of the different schemes and how they can support your current and future business needs.
• The Government’s current financial incentives for each scheme (up to £3000).
• The opportunity to ask questions and get free impartial advice and guidance.
• Signposting to additional information and support.
• The option to ask questions of local training and education providers who can help you with apprenticeship and skills development journey.
