Graham Potts, Managing Director at Wessex Commercial, is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. However he spent most of his career working in industry, where he helped grow and sell a local business to an international family firm. He then went on to help the buyer grow and acquire businesses across the UK and internationally.
You can't beat personal experience though, and Graham has bought and sold his own businesses. This included a successful local garage business, a pub and a scaffolding business, as well as running a niche international consultancy, and of course, our accountancy practice.
