QNUK Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work (RQF)

This qualification is intended for employees that are required to undertake training in fire awareness at work. the qualification has been developed to meet the training requirements outlined in best practice guidance.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Understand the hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace
Know how to use a range of fire controls
Understand the importance of a prompt and safe evacuation of the workplace

ASSESSMENT
As we offer QNUK regulated qualifications, learners will need to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that they have learnt. In order for a certificate to be issued candidates will have to complete a 15 question multiple choice exam and will be asked by the trainer to demonstrate practical elements of the course. The trainer is able to assist those who may have difficulties in completing the assessment criteria, we ask you advise us prior to the course start so we may make provisions if required.

CERTIFICATE
On completion of the course, learners will receive a Ofqual regulated qualification of which is valid for three years. After this period candidates will need to resit the course again, there is no re-qualification course for this course. The HSE recommend Annual Skills Updates of which we can provide either as an open course, as an in-house or as an online course.
