Do you understand the latest right to work checks? Do you have confidence that you have given your business a statutory excuse to a civil penalty? Are you struggling with recruitment since Brexit and now the great job resignation post-pandemic? Do you know whether your business would be eligible for a sponsorship licence? Have a think about which vacancies you have struggled to fill within the last year. All these questions will be addressed with the aim of helping you to understand the viable recruitment options for your business.
The workshop will benefit any business which hires staff and is turning to the overseas talent pool to help with the recruitment challenges being faced. Attendees will learn the different types of right to work checks and the compliant processes to be followed for each. However, the main focus of the workshop will be following a real-life case study on the journey from preparing to recruit from overseas, through to the worker starting employment with them. Attendees will come away from this workshop with a better understanding of the costs, timings, viability, process and responsibilities that are associated with hiring talent from overseas. Gemma will finish by covering other recruitment options and tips available for businesses that do not want to (or can't) sponsor overseas nationals."
